After spotting a large white egret on the banks of Barton Creek, I was inspired by their sleek elegance and knew I wanted to paint them somewhere. Once I saw these white jeans, the two inspirations merged and brought you this one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art. I even hand-pulled the fringed hem to match the ruffled tail feathers of the birds.

Customizing upcycled denim is a fun and special way that I get to bring my art to my admirers. Using high-grade acrylic paint blended with a flexible fabric medium I paint each piece by hand. Even if a similar commission is requested, I ensure that no two pieces are the same. Washing instructions: Machine wash alone with COLD water. Spot-cleaning with diluted bleach is ok but do not add bleach to wash tub. Hang or lay flat to dry.
